The Project
Jarman Ward Limited provided Design and Project Management Services to the REAch 2 Academy Trust. We successfully managed a refurbishment and maintenance works scheme at Milton Court Primary Academy.
Improving the Learning Environment
The scheme was funded through a Multi Academy Trust (MAT) Loan which addressed serious defects in the building fabric and improved the internal learning environment.
The scheme:
- involved remedial works to the building fabric to improve the internal learning environment
- improved the thermal efficiency of the building by upgrading the thermal insulation
- included installing a new boiler and wet central heating system
- concluded with refurbishment of the classroom areas.
Feasibility, Funding, Delivery
The works were completed during term time and school holiday periods over a period of eighteen months with minimal disruption to the school. Jarman Ward Limited assisted the client from commencement of the scheme from feasibility, funding application through to successful project delivery.
