The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 were introduced to ensure that health and safety is properly considered during the initial stages of a construction project so that the risk of harm to those who construct, use or maintain the completed building is reduced.
The fundamental ethos of the Regulations is that design decisions taken in the pre-construction phase of projects can affect the health and safety of the construction processes, materials used and maintenance of the building thereafter.

Specifically, in managing and reviewing construction health and safety to offer grounded advice to clients in compliance with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM).

The Regulations apply to both commercial and domestic Clients and we are similarly experienced in undertaking a health and safety advisory role assisting Clients in complying with their obligations under the CDM Regulations. It is important that Clients know what their duties are under the regulations when undertaking construction or maintenance work on a building and we can support you in meeting these duties.
